Four gunshots were fired at a crowd of males running away from the breezeway door that exits to the Calhoun Residence Hall patio area on Sunday morning at approximately 3:30 a.m.
The shooting occurred after the group of males assaulted a University of Cincinnati student who lives in the residence hall.

Your article regarding Rainbow Alliance in the April 30, 2008 issue of the Guardian was very informative, but perhaps you should have gone directly to the source of all the complaints against the organization.
The Guardian interviewed only two of the organization's advisors, only two student members, and had perspectives from sixty percent of the executive board, who of course are going to defend their position on cancelling the organization's meetings.

Tuition's going to go up again, and nobody's happy about it -- not even the people who are raising it.
"I don't like these tuition increases anymore than you do," University President James Votruba said in the April 16 edition of The Northerner.
No, nobody likes tuition increases, especially a $288 per semester one (that's $588 if you live out of state).

Earlier today I was reading the most recent issue of The Guardian when I came across another batch of letters to the editor.
Essentially they consisted of blatant bashing and insulting of the paper on the part of the writer's. Each time the paper is released it appears to have the same letters simply repeated over and over again, not only insulting the intelligence of the writers but the integrity of the paper as a whole.
