Steve Segner brings a whole new meaning to the phrase "house call." Segner, a 1990 graduate of the SIU automotive technology program, has been working as a mechanic since 1982. He began his Car Doctor business in 1986. Instead of starting his own garage, Segner decided he would take his mechanic service to his customers.

The Ann Arbor City Council revealed plans to move forward with the Ann Arbor Discovering Downtown development plan at an open house Thursday. Michigan Democrats may be one step closer to deciding how the state's delegates should be seated at the Democratic National Convention in August. A plan drafted by four members of the Michigan Democratic Party would award 69 convention delegates to Sen. Hillary Clinton and 59 to Sen.
